I had just plugged headphones in and less than 20 seconds of the song it stopped and gave me the temperature warning telling me it has to cool down. I had literally just started using it for the first time in about half an hour and it had actually been even cooler than room temperature. This is the second time I got this warning just a month after the first one and I've had it since the day it came out so I don't know what's wrong with it lately. In the past I've used it for hours straight where it gets so hot I can't even hold it anymore and I still didn't get this warning.

Are you jailbroken and have you ever dropped your iPod? If not, take it to the Apple Store and they might be able to help. :)
