iPod touch Ipod 4G Passcode Problems

My niece forget her passcode and has all her pictures and music on it and doesnt want me to restore it. I have Ifunbox and have tried everything I can find even in the hack section here and followed those directions but cant even find the /var folder thats supposed to hold the files that needs deleted. Is there something im missing? Is there hidden files thats not showing up?? Its a 4G touch 5.0.1

Any help to reset this code without losing things would be appreciated

Just tell her to man up and restore the device other wise Apple store is your best bet, and if it's truly your nieces and she an prove it well everythings easy peasy.

If its stolen lhowever, your the new owner of an iPaperweight.

unfortunately the Apple Store can't do anything but the DFU restore you can do.
