So i dropped my ipod 5 in water for a maximum time of 7 secons, pulled it out, dried it and put some toilet paper on every whole there was to make sure water didnt go in, but now the touch isnt working, please help me, i wont be able to aford a new one

It happened with my dads iPhone 3GS. Anyways..

When it is dropped in water. It should not be turned on at all, even to just check on it. Leave it off. Dry it with a towel. Then leave it in rice for about a week. Then turn it on. If it doesn't work, charge it. If it is okay, and then when you try to charge it again and it starts draining the battery more, its your loss.

Yeah putting it in a bowl of dry rice is the best remedy
