Does anyone know of a gps program for an ipod? In addition, is there a gps tracker you could plug into the ipod and then uses the ipod as a gps system? This would be a nice feature in my opinion.

No idea, but I'd like that too. Not sure about the capacity of the current iPod for that task though.

Maybe for the next generation iPod, with the wide, contact-screen? And connected to your Nike shoes, to know your way back? :D

My GPS has 8 MB of storage and most of it is still empty.

Sorry, I meant "processing capacity", like, would it be able to run TomTom software or an equivalent, with real-time 3D representation etc...

GPS are sold with SD cards, I guess my iPod of 60Gb would have enough storage capacity too.
