iPod iPod backlight: iTunes

Ever since i updated iTunes and the iPod, everytime i connect my ipod to my computer the backlight comes on and stays on. Is it just me or does anyone else have the problem? And will it mess up the ipod or should I not worry about it?

My ipod does the same thing, it's not super bright, but it's still there. Kinda bugs me too. Jus sit ur ipod face down, that is the only thing I can say, or downgrade ur firmware (IF possible, don't remember tho)
