iPod Battery question?

Hi, I am in the market for an iPod Mini. It has been claimed to be refurbished and never used. My question is: Is the battery okay if it has never been used? Is $55 shipped for a 1st generation 4 gb iPod mini including everything that originally comes with it a good deal?

well brand new ipods should have unused batterys in theory, so im guessing that the battery will be fine?

Well, it's only $55. So, you arn't taking a major hit if it doesn't work. But, seeing that it hasn't been used, it should, theoretially, work fine.

I'd say it's a good deal, seeing that all that could buy you in an Apple store would be a 1GB Shuffle.
