iPod black earbud covers: useless?

is it just me or those black earbud covers keep on falling off? they are pretty close to useless for me.

anyone actually using them and find them useful?

i think they are so supposed to keep ear gunk of ur phones hehe but yeah i dont use the earbuds anymore

Yeah I've noticed they're prone to slipping off. I guess that's why Apple packaged another set. Pretty damn thin too I might add they are. I accidently ripped one trying to fit it on an ear bud.

Mine fell off the second day I had my iPod. I think, for the most part, they're unnecessary.

i use them; they add a tiny bit of comfort to the earpieces themselves, and perhaps serve to keep eargunk off them? i'd like to think my ears are relatively gunk-free, though.

they do tend to fall off if i jam them in a pocket or try to pull them back out, especially if the cord is all twisted up in there as well... now i just don't stuff them in my pocket and it's fine.
