So, iTunes was not my favorite when I first imported my music collection. I had everything in 'Album Artist/Album/' with '## Album Artist - Track (Track Artist)' filenames.

After manually fixing lots of the disorganization, it was nice to see iTunes putting all the compilation CDs or DJ sets all in one album when you set 'album artist.' (Seperating albums tracks into different folders by track artist name is so ugly.)

Anyway, I appreciate how iTunes will display them as one album, but this does not transfer over to my new iPod... What do the rest of you do in this situation? Use "Track Artist - Track" under the 'Name' column in iTunes, leaving 'Artist' for the actual album artist? Does resetting the 'Artist' column actually update the file locations in the music folder?
