I have a video iPod and now, whenever I try to put music on it, the "other" space in the capacity section fills up (which is orange). I have never had this problem so I tried resetting my ipod and it does the same thing. Someone please help me.

Do a full reset through iTunes. Reformat the device and resynchronise. You may have a corrupt directory on the iPod disk.

Keep in mind that this space is also used for album art. My 30 GB iPod is basically 100% full with music (no other files placed on there manually by me), and the "Other" shows 543 MB for me. I'm sure I could reclaim that space if I unchecked Display album artwork on your iPod under the Music tab.
