Hi, 1st post and I'm asking for help/info, sorry.

I have a 2g iPod Touch running IOS 4. I also have an iPad. The other day I accidentally charged my iPod Touch using the iPad charger. I didn't notice it until the morning, and it seemed to be charged just fine.

Is the iPad charger capable of knowing that the iPod is connected, and it step[s down the charging? or did I just fubar my iPod Touch?

Thanks,

Bill

The iPad charger is capable of charging faster with more power but it will "ramp down" to whatever it plugged in.

Long story short: Totally safe, nothing to worry about
