Hi there,

I've been using my iPod as a disk drive for quite some years now, only now it seems that there is something wrong with the hard drive.

While trying to transfer some files (disk use) it seems like it's stuck after a random amount of bytes written.

It's currently sitting at 19.76Gb of 38.05Gb - About 19 minutes (now showing 22 minutes)

I also did a restore from iTunes and an erase using GUID from Disk Utility.

Here are the latest entries from dmesg

Thanks for any advice!

I'm amazed that there is no answer not even at the Apple forums.

I've also been told from an AAR that Apple presumably doesn't fix iPods!
So any ideas where to give it out for a repair?
