Hello,

I was given an iPod Classic dock a few months ago for use with my iPhone 3G. Now as the name implies, it is made for the iPod Classic and not for anything else. Now, the iPhone 3G does charge when I dock it, but does not output anything from the Video Ports or Audio Ports. I have tried many different things and 3rd party applications, to no avail. I have now given up on this, if you know of any fixes, please let me know.

Now for my question, if I am to get an iPhone 3G Dock Adapter for the Apple Universal Dock, will it work for the iPod Classic Dock? I have tried an iPod Touch 2G Dock Adapter and that does not fit on. Could I get one tailored for the iPod Classic Dock?

Thanks and regards,
Neo-Tech.

Sorry, your question was about physically fitting

Er, no it wouldn't fit, but you might be able to file it down or something to make it fit. Obviously the inside would be the right shape, you would need to just work the outside.
