iPod Ipod classic not syncing with itunes or PC

Ipod classic 5th gen 30gb

Okay so I bought a ipod classic off ebay, it worked and then plugged it into itunes and it came up, there was an update available so I updated. i can't really remember what happened but I have a feeling it didn't finish the update properly or somthing.

Anyway my itunes won't see it, my pc won't see it and I;ve checked in device manager for it. Reset it, put it into disk mode, changed leads, changed usb port etc etc. All the common things that I'Ve googled but nothing works. Itunes is currently unistalled and the pc still won't see it. The ipod does charge t hough when its plugged in!

Please help.

Have you tried it on a different computer?

Okay so it worked on another PC, I restored it and now it works on my PC again. Pretty annoying but at least it works now. Thanks
