Unfortunately my iTunes library has outgrown my 16GB iPod Touch. I am looking to replace it with an iPod Classic. The sound quality of my Touch isn't what you'd call great, and I have a taste for quality audio. So my question is, how well does the iPod Classic sound as opposed to the 1st gen Touch.

ipod classic sounds great. of course it goes without saying that in order to have your music sound good you also need a high quality encode (minimum 256kbps, if you ask me) and good headphones. if you have both of those things going for you, the classic sounds very good.
