Is it true that the iPod can play the same video formats as the PSP?
The reason I ask is that recently PSP added support for playing AVC mpeg videos
at arbitrary bitrate, and I don't know whether iPod can handle the same.

How this came about was I was downloading the "Ancient Chinese Secrets" videos
via bittorrent ( http://www.mininova.org/tor/1002146 if you are curious)

And I found that on the PSP the bitrate was NOT constant, so it must be arbitrary
bitrate, and they only play in the /VIDEO/ folder of the PSP. So this is the
newest format of AVC mpeg4. I was wondering if iPod supports these new formats
as well. Can anyone who is knowledgeable answer this question. Or
better yet, download them and try playing them. Thanks.
