iPod touch iPod Crashing, going Slow

I just got an iPod touch 4G, 32GB yesterday. I jailbroke it using RedSn0w, but it was useless because Cydia didn't work, so I restored. My iPod was now going slower than usual, and apps were crashing. I restored without backup, and the same thing happens. It's really annoying and I don't know what to do! Should I return it?
