The big thing at work is sharing iTune libraries (for listening via the iTunes option/preference) on the network. So I wanted to contribute too.

My iPod is on my Mac G5 iTunes and when I plugged it in on a PC at work it wants to reformat my iPod.

Well I was smart enought to say no thank you. But does this mean that I can not plug in my iPod at work (uses PC)

ANy work arounds or tips?

Thank you

IJ

So long as everything's backed up on the Mac, let the PC format your iPod and it'll work with both PCs and Macs. PC-formatted iPods work with both platforms but Mac-formatted iPods only work with Macs. :)

So, format the iPod on the PC, take it back home, sync it with your Mac, take it back to work and make sure you don't let it syn with the PC (it'll ask first). You'll have a fully functioning iPod that works with both computers.

Thank you

Thank you - you just ecod my IT guys exact words which gives me SUPER confidence that this will work.

Worse case it is a fun adventure
