This might have already been discussed, but the old dock owns the dock that came with the iPhone.
The iPhone brings up a prompt telling you that the device is not made for the iPhone, and would you like to go into Airplane mode. Just say no.
Everything works just like the 5g iPod.
I love using the remote, and the dock still charges it.
The only downside to using a dock with speakers is the static cellular interference noise.
