Title says most of it. I tried doing the resetting and no response. I charged it for hours (and yes, I know the charger is still working because I tested a relatives iPhone on it- worked fine) but nothing happened. There isn't even the need-charging or the Apple sign. As far as I know there was no water damage... just that plain old dark screen.
Plus, the irritating thing is that it was working an hour or two before, it did the little running out of charge thing when it was at 10% and shut off. Haven't been able to get it on since.

Thanks in advance- I'd really appreciate it if someone could help!
THANK YOU.

Is it still within warranty? Apple is really good about replacing broken iPods, usually with no questions asked.

Are you aware of the hard reset by holding the play/menu buttons for 10 seconds?
