Occasionly when i go to turn my ipod off, it doesn't. I will hold down the button to turn it off, and then a couple seconds later it wont turn off. I try restarting the iPod but it doesn't work. This is just occasionaly, but it is pretty annoying when it happens. If anyone can tell me why this is happening or how i can prevent it, that would be great, thanks.

This happens all too often to me too. I just start playing a song, stop it (so nothing is playing) and then try again and hope it works.

Like...restoring the ipod to factory settings?

I think that's what he means. I really don't think it will help, though. It's happened to every iPod I have ever used (including mine and my friends, and even ones at the Apple Store). Also, if you do a restore, you'll have to update all of your music/videos/podcasts/photos/contacts etc. again.

Yeah, that doesn't really seem like it would work. its not a big deal, but i think you would all agree it'd be nice if it stopped happpening.
