My Friend Got A Router And I Connected My Ipod To It And Then The Connection Worked, But I Went To App Store And Updated An Application, But It Was Installing And Then I Clicked 'install All' And Then My Ipod Basically Froze. When I Restore, It Says An Error Occured.

What I Do? Omg. I Already Pressed Home And On/off And It Turned Off And Then Back On With Apple Logo And Then Freeze! I Get The Battery Image With A Circle Wheel Loading And It Goes Away And Comes Back, Continuing To Make The Bloody Ipod Connection To Computer Sound.

EDIT: Sorry for bad writing. In emergency.

Okay, so now I put it in recovery mode, but when I restore, it says an unknown error occured. (error 1604)

If a normal restore wont work then you will need to do a DFU mode restore. If it still fails try using a different usb port.

I mean DFU mode... like wait for Apple Logo, hold both buttons (on/off and home) and wait for the logo to disapear and then iTunes says your iPod is in recovery mode.
