My iPod touch 4g fell to the floor...

There is an attachment showing how it looks...

It works just fine... but I need to replace that part and I am not sure about its name...

No color leaks...
Touch response works perfectly

Only cracked external glass, LCD is fine...

Is it the digitizeR?
Is it only a glass cover???

I don't know... please tell me so I can find it on amazon...

Hi, Do a search on eBay for the following:-
ipod 4th digitizer lcd
You need the digitiser and lcd that are fused together, the above search should find it for it.
Be careful doing this repair though and I would suggest not taking off the headphone socket as suggested in some guides as the clip can come away from the main board.
Also don't forget to order some new adhesive for sticking the new screen back on. Another search on ebay should find it for you:-
ipod 4th 3m
Hope this helps, and good luck.

One of my friends broke his iPod touch 4G recently and now it looks just like the photo. Have you jailbroken? Because if you haven't then you can get it repaired for free.

If you have accidental damage cover or a genius is feeling very generous. Stating it as a fact without clarification is pretty misleading.
