iPod iPod File Sizes

In preparation for buying an iPod classic or touch, I have begun to copy my CDs (classical) into iTunes. Are the file sizes shown in iTunes the same as apply on an iPod? I know that copying files from one computer to another can result in different sizes.

It should be.

If sizes are different between different computers it will only make a small difference to the size, depending on how the files are stored...
