What is the point of making a PC only version of the iPod...... when appearantly the iPod for Macs works perfectly on a PC right now ....and all you have to do is some purchase third party software. My Uncle has been running his Mac iPod on a Dell for 2 months! Why would people buy a PC only iPod, when they could get a Mac iPod .... and 3rd party software.....and then have the capability to run it on either a PC or an actual Mac.......

Read the PC iPod specs:

Requirements and Software

PC with built-in FireWire or Windows-certified FireWire card; Windows Me, Windows 2000, or Windows XP Home or Professional; CD includes MUSICMATCH Jukebox Plus™ software.

Includes 3rd party PC software, and the Mac software is downloadable.

So the whole "iPod for PC" announcement was basically that they'd be putting Musicmatch software CD's in with the iPod's ......rather then the regular Mac software? That's pretty lame......they should have included both MAC and PC software from the beginning......
