My iPod nano (2G) has frozen. I had it connected to my laptop putting some new songs on and it just stopped working.... the screen is frozen. Any ideas?

Peace

Get it seen to. Frozen is not good, trust me. Turn it off, let it sit by itself, switched off, overnight and then, try to turn it on the next day. If that doesn't work, you have a problem. If it is less than a year old, and you have the sales receipt, you can take it to where you bought it, and you will be offered a refund, repair, or replacement (which happened to me when my classic froze - ie died - a few months ago; but it died within warranty, so I was able to get a replacement).

Cheers and good luck

This is actually a pretty common problem. It happened to me the day after I got my iPod Nano. Just hold the Menu and Center buttons down until the system restarts. It should be working again after a few seconds.

I tried that with my recently deceased classic, and it remained deceased. However, I agree with you that it does work a lot of the time. When it doesn't, well, then perhaps it is time to have it seen to by the vendors and their resident Genius[es].

Cheers

I left it alone and the next day it was fine... the batter was dead but all was well. A friend did tell me about the reset feature.

Peace
