I used to have a dell computer and when i would plug in my iPod i would be able to find it and then save documents on it and then later work on them at school. I could basically use it as a hard drive because that is what an iPod is. However now I have a mac Book Pro and I plug in my iPod and it updates but i can't find it under HD to save files on it and work on them at school. I plug in the iPod and it shows up on the desktop for a little while, while it is updating the music and stuff but it won't stay there for me to move files to it. Please help. thanks.:apple: How about my iPod nano. i have been having the same problem there too.

You are not currently able to use the iPod touch as a disk drive, but there is a free app called Air Sharing that allows you to use your iPod touch as a disk drive over a wifi network or over an internet connection.
