I was just wondering if my 5th Gen iPod will have been seen to by now? It had a number of problems with it and I was told it would be replaced as neither me or the tech support over the phone could come up with a fix.

Roughly how long do these repairs take with regards to the iPod?

My iPod Nano 2g was with Apple for 4 days from pick up to delivery of the replacement unit. It would probably have been quicker but I was having my engraving done on the new unit.

You can track the progress online. I guess it might be delayed if they don't have spare stock available.
 
Yeah, thanks for that. I do track the progress online but its a bit of a let down to see that its still being 'diagnosed'. Also you can add the weekend to the delay I suppose.
