My ipod the 3G 10gig model, has completely screwed me. I did a reformatt of my computer. So i put all my music (paid Itunes) on it in disk mode. Now after the system install i started puting my music back, but it all of a sudden crashed half way through, and crashed my imac. Now when and if the imac even reconizes the iPod when you click the icon to open it all i get is the spinning wheel, and after 5 min the ipod crashes. Can some one help me reclaim my music, that i have over 60$ worth. HELP.

Confirm that you are running:
iTunes 4.0.1
iPod software version 1.3
Mac OS X 10.2.6

Have you tried copying your iPod data to another computer with the same specs (above)??

yea i have all the uptodate software, itunes 4.01, ipod 2.0, osx 10.2.6

I tried it on my power book with same software updates and it still crashs.
