iPod Home Speakers - Input Needed

Hello.

Looking for an iPod speaker system for our kitchen/dining area. Fairly open concept. Something that can nicely sit on the counter but not take up too much space.

Sound quality is important.
Price is not too big on an issue, but not looking to break the bank.

Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated.

if you have room, get the iHome iH9. For the price, it's pretty spectacular sounding.

I have the JBL Onstage II which sounds great, but they jacked the price of the Onstage III up pretty high.

Those are just my 2 cents....
