I had a bad experience today. I plugged in my nano to a computer where I usually sync my iPhone. It completely wiped out the songs on my nano. I managed to resurrect it but now I do not know what will happen if I go to sync my iPhone. Sorry if this is a dumb question with a simple answer, but how I do manage this? I have not encountered this before. Thanks.

EDIT: Different sets of music for the nano and iPhone, very little overlap.

I have no problem syncing 2 ipods and 2 iphones to the same computer. Sounds like your library got corrupted or something.

I am unsure of how you are currently doing the songs for your iPhone, but if you aren't already, I would suggest creating a playlist for your iPhone and only syncing that to it. This may solve the problem, it may not.

Thanks All.

I have set it up for different play lists for my iPod and iPhone but for some reason, there were no playlists selected for my iPod and that resulted in that complete wipe out. Now I tested it a few times and each one retained its selected playlists.
