iPod is dead, Music is now open on iPad

So they have renamed it in line with the iPod Touch, kind of makes sense to me. Also, have they completely redesigned this app, cause that's what it looks like from this iCloud screen shot:

Whoa they kept that quiet! I guess there was SO much new today, that they simply didn't have the time. I'm eagerly awaiting video to confirm this and to discover what else is new, that wasn't mentioned.

No way that's a screenshot from iTunes where you purchase music isn't it?

I found nothing that said the iPod was dead. I think the OP is speaking from the opinion that the new iCloud streaming will eventually kill the device. I suppose he thinks they are going to have a new app to fold the iPad up so it fits in your pocket while you jog.
