We have several ipod touches, removed from a demo site that had passcodes to prevent the public from changing the current music loop played back.

However 3 out of the 5 now say ipod is disabled connect to itunes.

I have been reading up on this and it says to plug them in to the machine they were first activated on, which is an old mac G5 to reset them.

That machines long gone now, I have tried a DFU restore and this also fails.

These have been out on site ffor quite some time, im not sure what model they are but they appear to be 1st/2nd gen as they are slightly smaller than the new ipod touches we have.

Any ideas or are they for the bin?

thanks in advance.
