Hello there

This is my first post here, so forgive me if this has been covered before. I've just upgraded from an old G3 iBook to the 15" G4 Powerbook. All my songs are on the iBook and iPod - I was wondering if there was any way I can transfer all my songs to the Powerbook?

Thanks.

two ways come to mind...

Assuming there are no complications due to purchased music from the itunes store (which would require authorizing the songs on the pboon), you should be able to either:

a) Connect your ipod to the ibook, when ipod mounts on desktop, drag your music files to the ipod (they are most likely in the itunes music folder of your home directory). Then connect ipod to pbook and drag the music files from the ipod on your desktop to itunes.

b)download an application like ipodrip that allows you to sync the files already on your ipod into itunes on the powerbook.
