iPod touch iPod just randomly stopped playing, no volume now.

Hi,

I was using my iPod, and it suddenly just stopped playing, so I hit resume, nothing happens.

And then it turned off, so I turned it on, but the screen wouldn't respond. The screen is fine now, but it's still not playing music. I'm using 1.1.1, and it is jailbroken. What should I do?

And I can't restore, because it forces me to download the update, but then the update keeps timing out.

EDIT: It also claims that there is no wifi. I can't even turn it on.

Well it's all sorted now, except for the wifi.

Basically, the iPod started responding better, and then the audio came back, but at poor quality. Then it was fine, but of course it still says "No Wifi".
