iPod ipod makes me upset

MY ipod will not download any songs, it says the memory is full but thing is I have no songs on the ipod or in the itunes memory file. How do I clear this up?!?! Help me thks

Open the iPod up in Finder and see if you have got a ton of files on there. If not, maybe do a restore, it will wipe the iPod's HDD and return it to factory settings.

Try restoring the iPod firmware using iPod Update Software. It'll refresh everything so that the iPod acts like new.
