Hi all,

I've got a 4GB iPod mini bought in August this year, which doesn't seem to like turning on.

I just connected it to my computer, it connectd to iTunes (after a minute or so showing the rectangular, non-animated charging icon). After leaving it to charge, I disconnected and the battery indicator on the iPod said it was fully charged. I turned it off, tried to turn it on, and it said the battery was empty, then it turned off. Plugging it back into the computer, it made 4 high pitched doubble beeps, then after a bit connected to itunes, sinced etc all fine, and it says it is charging again - I unplug, it says it is almost full, I turn on the backlight, playapodcast, then a message came up on the screen saying no more attery power, it made a quiet clicking noise, and turnd off.

Sound like a battery problem right? Can I get that fixed under the 1yr warranty?

I'm in the UK, bought the iPod in NL.

Cheers,
Douglas.
