i'm not sure if this has been posted yet but I dont have much time cause i'm at the library. I would like to know if its possible to replace the mini's battery? the one i have the battery finally died as of last night. the only way it will work if its either plugged into the power supply that plugs into the wall or plugged into the power adapter for the car. I would like to be able to get my files off of the ipod if I cant replace the battery, any suggestions? I dont have a usb 2.0 if you think it would be wise for me to get a USB 2.0 I can do that easily. so, any suggestions people?

??

How did you put the files on there in the first place? You mean MP3's through iTunes or files as in .doc's and .txt's?

windows sees it as an external hard drive. so i just treated it as one. in the meantime iTunes saw it as a normal iPod mini.
