Hey all,

Just wanted to see if anyone else noticed that Apple is selling the iPod mini (a 1 yr old product) on the refurb page. Seems strange that they would start selling these again now that the iPod nano has the mini-mimicking redesign. Is Apple trying to unload these players on unsuspecting customers?

I'm thinking about buying one just so I can have something I don't have to baby like my new 80gig.

They've been on the refurb store since they have stopped selling them.

They only recently dropped the price.

I don't think they are trying to unload them on unsuspecting customers. It's clearly labeled as a mini. They are just trying to recoup the cost of replacing a bad mini and the price is pretty hard to beat.

No, of course not. Apple makes it no secret that these are used, refurbished units. They've got a surplus of these things, most likely customer returns and repaired units. What are they supposed to do with them? Throw them away?
