iPod iPod Mini won't charge, won't turn on

I have a 2nd Gen 4gb iPod Mini and it won't charge or turn on. I've tried both USB and Firewire to charge the Mini, nothing. I can't reset it. It won't turn on when plugged into PC or Mac. It won't show up in iTunes. It won't even turn on when plugged into a computer (with USB or Firewire).

Any ideas?
