iPod iPod nano 2G Software Update Now Avaliable!

No idea how long this has been out, but i just plugged in my ipod nano 8gb 2G and there is new software available, so if anyone else has a new nano you might want to update it!

Just thought i'd let you all know,

Does it fix error-48?

I know that Apple have published a workaround, but...

Please let it fix error-48 properly.



Edit: I've just plugged my Nano in and iTunes says that it's up to date.

I really, really hope they fix one of the (many) little Nike+ quirks and annoyances... it's getting pretty boring to reset it all the time, even if no real harm is done...

I thought the nano software was bumped from 1.1.1 to 1.2 last June. :confused:

Okay, thanks...I guess I've just gotten confused since they started packaging the updates inside iTunes. It's tougher to get a grasp on their version numbers and release dates. I would have thought they would have continued increasing the version numbers for the nano software, regardless of what generation it was, but I guess not.

Solved... ;)

And it seems it has done the trick with the Nike+... up until no whenever I've gotten a "special" message from Lance Armtrong or Paula Radcliffe at the end of runs, the nano has just frozen. Today it didn't... :)
 
iPod Software update to 1.1.2.

Hallo everybody.
Does anyone knows what's new in this update?
My 2g Nano 8gb has just been updated from iTunes store, but I can't seem to find any note on Apple site.

  1. Separate DST option, no more DST/no-DST time zones
  2. Settings > Legal updated copyright year
  3. Diagnostics mode slightly updated
  4. ...still can't find more updates.
