iPod iPod nano 5th gen new software (1.0.2) just released

I was just notified of the new software version 1.0.2 for the 5th gen nano. It'll be fairly invisible for me, though. According to the release notes, the most obvious fixes are:

• Fixed normal/slower/faster audio podcast playback.
• Genius Mixes now work with Nike+iPod.
• Fixed an issue with Voice Over and the headphone controls.

I don't really use any of these, to be honest.

Any other new nano owners out there updated yet? If so, any problems?

Hmm.. smart playlist also won't sync on my iPod touch. Is this an issue or just isnt possible?

It's an isuue!
I noticed last week my iPhone and nano would not sync smart playlists. (some)
I made one that says "5 star". That syncs
top 25 & recent added do not sync. I've even tried making ones with the smae properties but different names and they still wouldn't sync...
Hopefully this gets resolved..

Hmmm. I see. Im sure it will be addressed... when I get a moment ill search on the Apple forums. there might be more people with this problem.

There is one good thing to lots of people having the same problem, Apple can hardly ignore it now.

So have they told anyone anything about this problem yet?

I havent heard it be publicly announced... Hopefully it gets addressed soon.

Maybe you can get Apple to see it at the support forums or something?
