Hey guys!

Im new here, and im happy to say Hello to such a big and growing mac community!

So here's my story. I own Ipod nano 5G, and i was using it with in-ear headphones. Later, i bought Beats by dr.dre SOLO HD, and wanted to use them with nano but... the sound isn't that perfect. Its kinda, quiet. I thought that they are fake or broken, tried them on friends iphone and my iPad 3 and wow, they work amazingly loud an clear on both devices! So now im dissapointed, cause using ipad on street to listen music is not practical :)

I like both players: Ipod Nano 6 and Ipod touch 4. But please tell me guys, which one will help me to experience the best SOLO HD quality? Is nano 6 sound chip good enough to max out solo hd? Or its better to buy touch 4? I only need music, nothing else:) Thanks!

I have a similar problem with my Etymotic ER-4P. They sound better connected to a 2nd gen touch, compared to a last gen classic and a 5th gen nano. I think has to do with a slightly higher power output and the Cirrus DAC in the Touch.

I too am interested in the output quality of the current iphones and touches.
