When any of you MR people get a iPod Nano 4GB...could you tell me how much the ACTUALLY capacity is?
(Settings>About)
 
3.7 GB in Settings > About. Which makes sense, since 1024 * 1024 * 1024 * 3.7 = 3972844748.8 bytes. Everyone does the ol' 1 GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes trick, when 1 GB actually equals 1,073,741,824 bytes (a difference of 7%).
 
ordered one...

...i was told by one of the apple reps after i ordered it that it is actually 3.8! He may have been wrong ?
 
aaahh...i just thought it was different cause it was flash memory :eek:
