So, i just got my new nano yesterday and i was wondering if the screen scratches. please let me know.

It depends, rubbing it with a cotton wool ball? No scratches.

Putting it against a belt sander? Probably going to scratch it.
 
Of course it scratches. All you need is for something ever-so-slightly harder than the screen to rub against it and a scratch will occur.

I would assume that it doesn't scratch near as easily as the first generation nanos, which would get scratched from being in your pocket
 
so far my nano don't get scratched...but it becomes dirty...there are some black spot there and there...especially on the wheel..but i think it can be clean..
