Am I the only geek who thought naming cases for the iPod nano "Tubes" was cool because it is a reference to Carbon nanotubes, a promising topic in physics that has recently emerged in the past few years.

Apple has always tried to create clever names and I think they were tipping their hat to the scientific community with this one. Perhaps I'm just a crazy geek grabbing at straws here. Did anybody else make this connection?

that is indeed very geeky :p

(says the girl with a university degree in ...well, something fairly geeky...)

Heh, that's pretty clever. I'll most likely be getting a tube when they come out, but for know my iPod socks will have to do.
