Hey i need help!! I plugged my ipod touch in to add sum new apps and my computer isnt even charging it nor is it showin up on itunes. i tried a different usb port...i tried a different usb wire and nothing seems to change. Any help on what i can do??? :(

Welcome to Macrumors,

First off, just a couple of questions.

1) What generation iPod Touch are you trying to work with?

2) Do you know if you are using a USB or FireWire cable to connect to your system?

3) Do you have the correct version of iTunes installed to support your iPod device?

Depending on the answer to those questions, you can also try to reboot your system (without the iPod connected) and see if you can get it to see your iPod. Your iPod should charge from USB 2.0 once connected, and depending on the version of iPod Touch, it may not charge from FireWire.
