Ok, so I recently upgraded to iOS4 from 3 and now when I am playing music through the iPod feature of the iPhone, If turn off the display or unlock the unit, or the song goes from one track to the next the music pauses for a brief moment before starting back up again. It didn't do it with the previous firmware.

Has anyone come across this glitch? it's bloody annoying.

It mainly does it during podcast playback.

Cheers

Yes. IOS4 on the 3GS sucks.
And I can't understand why Apple won't let us downgrade to IOS3 even if we still have the files.

Did you restore from backup? If you did, try Putting the iPhone in DFU-Mode, restore and set it up as new.
