IPod on iPhone question

Sometimes on a Podcast i gets a bar at the top that allows me to position the cursor anywhere in the podcast. Other times and seemingly on un-heard or newly downloaded Podcast it never appears.


I want it to always be there. Is this a Podcast preference I can set or is it something the publishers of the Podcast turns on and off at there preference?

you should be able to touch the screen and have it appear.

I tried doing just that...but it either doesn't or I don't touch it right.<g>
