Ipod on Iphone starts playing by itself.

I have seen many posts on the Net about this problem, but no viable solution.

Can anyone here help?

This is the Ipod starts playing by itself thing. Running OS version 4.1 on an Iphone 3GS. I will have the phone on the nightstand, nothing touching it, no headphones etc. And the Ipod starts playing by itself. Happens when its in my case on my belt, when its not being touched. Day and night.

I back out of the Ipod to ensure its not running. Still happens again. Over and over.

Would appreciate any thoughts on this.
