iPod iPod only holds 200 songs

Hey guys.
I was wondering about an iPod mini, it only holds 200 songs.
Do yall know how to get it to hold more songs? is this a common problem?

What size (GB) is the iPod and how is your music encoded?

I'd be willing to bet you've got your music in AIFF or Apple Lossless format.
